Hello and welcome to the Affiliate Corner!
My name is Dominik and I have been in the affiliate marketing and online business niche for more or less 4 years now. It all started in 2016, when my girlfriend told me that she signed up for an online course that teaches how to build a website and earn money online.
I am a very cautious person, so my first thought was “Great! Mia just got scammed in the internet and we lost some money!”. Only when she told me more about the online training and after checking it in detail, I started to understand that this might be something interesting that could actually work.
4 years later – at the time writing these lines we are in July 2020 – the online training that my girlfriend signed up for helped her to create her own successful online business. While most of the great work was done by Mia, I could support on a lot of topics “behind the scene”.
During those years, I was closely following the very same online course and ever since, I found my passion for creating an online business. This includes specifically creating a website from scratch, affiliate marketing, keyword research, paid ads and search engine optimization.
I researched a lot of these topics, not only within the online training, but also in hundreds of other resources. It became something like a hobby and I enjoy spending time with it.
This is also the reason why I started affiliate-corner.com. I want to create something, based on the knowledge I’ve gained within the last 4 years.
Before 2016, I’d never had much interest in affiliate marketing, creating a website, or launching an online business. I’d never thought about other ways to work than the normal 40h/week job. But ever since I joined this course, I got to see also the “other side” by looking at the freedom and flexibility my girlfriend gained with her online business.
This is the reason why I want to share what I’ve learnt so far. I am sure there are a lot of people out there, that dream of having more time with their families, friends or favourite hobbies, but can’t because of their jobs. I want to provide information about ways to build an online business and thus to gain more freedom and flexibility in life.
